Music History:
My musical activity started with piano lessons in the 2nd or 3rd grade. When I was about to enter the 7th grade there was a sign up for summer rehearsals and lessons. I wanted to play trumpet but that section was full. The instructor said I looked like a trombone player. So be it! I played trombone in junior high and high school and then laid off for 25 years until joining TNCB. I have also played trombone in the Richardson Community Band, the Lovers Lane Methodist Church jazz band and the Richland College Evening Jazz Ensemble.
