- On July 18 the TNCB board selected Karen Thomas as its new director.
We all welcome Karen as an expert flutist, experienced musician and director.

- Roger Keough,
trombone player and long-time member of Town North Concert Band passed away
October 26, 2009. Roger fell in early 2009, injuring himself extensively,
and never recovered. Wanda arranged flowers from the band.

- Jim Tuggle has been
named as the new director of TNCB. We all welcome Jim, who is not only a fine director,
but is also a wonderful Horn player.

- The band elected Frank Bray in June to replace
Jay Wartell as Vice President due to Jay's extended absence.
- The band elected officers May 10 for the coming year. The only changes
were Dorina Thomas was elected as Secretary and George McCally was elected
Board Member At- Large. All other officers remained the same as
last year.
