- TNCB lost it's Assistant Director in the summer of 2013 when Karen moved to Pittsburgh, TX., to take on a new job. We'll miss you, Karen.

- TNCB elected officers for the coming year in May 2013. Effective June 1, 2013 the band's new president is Gene Verinder. Kathy Draves was elected as the new At-Large Board member, replacing Gene. All other officers remain unchanged.

- In the Fall of 2012 the TNCB Board appointed Bill Waltemath as its new Director. Karen Thomas will stay on as Assistant Director

- On July 18, 2011 the TNCB board selected Karen Thomas as its new director. We all welcome Karen as an expert flutist, experienced musician and director.

- The band elected Frank Bray in June to replace Jay Wartell as Vice President due to Jay's extended absence.

- The band elected officers May 10, 2012 for the coming year. The only changes were Dorina Thomas was elected as Secretary and George McCally was elected Board Member At- Large. All other officers remained the same as last year.

- Roger Keough, trombone player and long-time member of Town North Concert Band passed away October 26, 2009. Roger fell in early 2009, injuring himself extensively, and never recovered. Wanda arranged flowers from the band.

Jim Tuggle has been named as the new director of TNCB. We all welcome Jim, who is not only a fine director, but is also a wonderful Horn player.
